Born in Vincennes, Indiana on April 6, 2010, he was the son of Bart Alan Goodwin and Wendie Marie (Mullen) Goodwin who survive. Also surviving are three brothers, Logan Lewis Goodwin, Hunter Alan Goodwin and Caden Scott Goodwin; one sister, Brooke Michelle Goodwin; paternal grandparents, Terry Goodwin and Janet White; maternal grandparents, Ron Mullen and Carol Russell; paternal great-grandmothers, Freda Goodwin and Joann Schaffer; maternal great-grandmother, Rosemary Garrard; aunts and uncles, Janet & Terry Manhart, Jim & Jessica Goodwin, Brandy Goodwin, Shannon & Crystal White and Kevin & Carol White.
Lane is preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Robert E. "Bob" Goodwin, Bud Prulledge and Bob Garrard and great-grandparents, Emil & Dorothy Mullen.
Pastor Rusty Morecraft will officiate the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
