She was born August 14, 1899 in Draper, Utah to Joseph M. and Celestia Ann Brown Smith.

She attended school in Draper and graduated from Jordan High School.

She worked at Draper Canning Factory and USAC Cafeteria and the Mount Jordan Jr. High Cafeteria.

She has always been a faithful and devoted member of the LDS Church, serving in all the organizations in various capasities. She was the Sunshine Lady for the Draper 5th ward for many years, sending cards to the sisters on their birthdays.

Mother loved people and she enjoyed sending greeting cards to her many friends and relatives and the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She worked hard beside father on their farm and in raising their seven children, but she could always find time for the pigs in blankets, cinnamon rolls, "piggy pudding" and potato salad for a hayride or family bonfire. In her declining years she enjoyed cooking everyone's favorite dinners, deserts or bread for their turn to "visit" at night or on Saturday or Sunday. My Aunt Ann was a very special lady. And I loved her so very much. It is so true about the cards, my Mother never had an occasion pass that she did not receive a card from Aunt Ann. Her daughter Ann has really kept up the tradition for her Mom.
Rest in Peace my Sweet Aunt. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
