HENDERSON -- Virginia "Snookie" (Bennett) Brown died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at Methodist Hospital.
She worked at JC Penney's for more than 35 years, and was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, George Delmer Brown; a daughter, Judy Bozza; a brother, William "Billy" Bennett; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Baptist Church Building Fund.
