Mrs. Bailey went to be with her Lord and Savior Feb. 4, 2009, in Tyler. She was born March 12, 1956, in La Mesa, Calif., to Edith Vessell Bailiff and the late William Bailiff Sr.
She had lived in Bullard for the past nine years and was formerly of Tyler. She was a graduate of Van High School and worked for Tyler Pipe Foundry for 21 years and Sam's Club for 10 years. She was a member of Friendly Baptist Church in Tyler.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Bailiff Jr., and her beloved Schnauzer "Gabby."
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Keith Bailey of Bullard; mother, Edith Bailiff of Mineola; brothers, Mike Bailiff of Mineola, and Tommy Bailiff and wife, Mitzi, of Sherman; sister, Bonnie Taylor and husband, Charlie, of Lake Fork; mother-in-law, Louise Bailey of Tyler; sister-in-law, Suzanne Baker and husband, Charlie, of Chandler; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Don Dickson, Alan Fisher, Gary Harter, Johnny Morris, Tim Dazey, Paul Ward and Bill Langley.
Honorary pallbearers are Wanda Morris, Glenna Langley, Nealette Zimmerman, Julia Davis, Deborah Harter and the WOW class at Friendly Baptist Church.
Family visitation will be at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, Friday, 5 to 7 p.m.
