Mrs. Muriel Loretta Courson Bish, 29, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, at her home near Wentling's Corners, Clarion County, following an extended illness. She was born in Juniata, Blair County, on June 21, 1911, the daughter of Gilbert and Cora Erb Courson. On September 14, 1938, she married Teddy Bish, at Monroe. She was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church. Surviving are her husband, and a daughter, Syvilla Smith, at home; her father, G. M. Courson, of Wilkinsburg; two half-sisters, Mrs. H. G. Mahle, of Miola, and Mrs. Emma Van Horn, of Mohawk, New York; a brother, Frank W. Courson, of Hokum, Washington; and a half-brother, Orville G. Courson, of Wilkinsburg. Friends may call at Boyer Funeral Home, Knox, until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, when funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Reformed Church with Rev. F. F. Fischer, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Death certificate gives age as 29 years, 8 months and 21 days. Husband was informant. Buried on March 15, 1941.

Miss Smith is a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, and is presently employed as a Vocational Home Economics teacher in Cochranton. The prospective bridegroom attended Spartan School of Aeronautics, Tulsa, Oklahoma, after serving three years in the U.S. Air Force. He is presently employed as a pilot for Kirsch Manufacturing Company, Sturgis, Michigan.
