Josephine Elizabeth Bastianelli, age 79 passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti Township, MI. She was born April 21, 1933 in Detroit, MI, to the late Joseph and Mary Ptak.

Josephine has been a Belleville resident for the past 20 years, coming here from Detroit, MI. She was of the Catholic faith. She retired from Chrysler after years of devoted service, and at one time owned an antique shop. She enjoyed watching television and her favorite show was Wheel of Fortune. Her favorite times were the ones spent with the family she cherished.

She is survived by her daughter April Dawn (Bruce) Marcotte, and son, Wayne Bastianelli, of Warren, MI, and is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Jesse Marcotte, Candace Marcotte, Lacey Marcotte, Nicole Bastianelli and Renee Bastianelli. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
