Frederick was the son of Maskiel Bacon (found on the 1820 census of Hannibal NY) & Sarah Hudson. He was born in 1794 in Hartford Connecticut. His brother was Hudson Bacon one of the founding members of a investment company called Western Emigration Company that established a settlement called Pike later called Southport..known today as the city of Kenosha.
