Spouse: John Charles Fremont Stout
Children: Ralph Augustus Stout 1879-1959

Sallie died of pneumonia leaving 3 small children under the age of 10. She was buried with her parents as there is a stone. A stone was never placed for John C. but we know from family records that he is buried beside her.
Sallie's grandfather James Gilkey 1786-1853 in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine was married to Elizabeth Bartlett 1786-1864 who was a direct decendent of Robert Bartlett 1603-1688 and Mary Warren 1610-1663. Mary Warren was the daughter of Richard Warren 1580-1628 and Elizabeth Walker 1582-1670. Richard Warren came from England to Plymouth, Mass on "The Mayflower" in 1620 and was a Signer of the Mayflower Compact. His wife followed in 1623 on "The Anne" with her daughters. Robert Bartlett was also on "The Anne" and he married Mary Warren in 1627. Richard Warren was Sarah 'Sallie' Elizabeth Gilkey's 7th Great Grandfather. She would have been very proud if she had known that fact as are we of the 10th generation.
