MRS. BLAIR, 82, DIED TUESDAY

Mrs. Charles L. (Phoebe) Blair, 82, a former resident of Webster City, died Tuesday morning at Sioux city where she had been making her home the past 20 months.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home with The Rev. S.W. Cunningham officiating and with burial at Graceland Cemetery.

Phoebe Jane Glaman was born Oct 24, 1884, at Jewell, Iowa, and was reared and educated in that community.

She was united in marriage Feb. 14, 1914, to Charles L. Blair and the couple resided in Webster City where for many years they owned and operated the Blair grocery store at the corner of Funk and Water streets. Her husband preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1941

She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. James R. Flanagan, Sioux City, Mrs. Wilbur Goehring, Springfield, Mo. and James Blair of Orinda, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Blair was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran church. She was also a member of the Women's Relief Corps.
