Mr. Clyde Franklin "Frankie" Arnold, age 67, of the Redstone Community, in Athens, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012.

Mr. Arnold was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Potts Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a retired heavy equipment operator in the grading business.

Mr. Arnold's brother, James Arnold, and sister, Kay Page, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jo Nash Arnold; his children and their spouses, Pam and Scott Henson, Judy and Phil Lane, and Aubrey and Christy Arnold; and his brother, Hope Arnold, all of Athens. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Trent Arnold, Caleb Henson, Morgan Lane, Connor Henson, McKenzie Arnold, Colby Henson, A.J. Arnold, Jeremiah Arnold, and Jacob Arnold.

Visitation is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, at Evans Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, in the funeral home chapel, with the Revs. Jesse and Carl Mealor officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Park, with Trent and Caleb Arnold, Colby Henson, Walt Temple, Jimbo Arnold, Bryan Barnett, Travis Page, and Jimmy Nash honored as pallbearers.
