DECORAH--REUEL W. HEADINGTON, 69, of Decorah, died Tuesday, June 14, at Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah, of an apparent heart attack; survivors include his wife, Frances; a daughter, Karen Gipp of Decorah; two grandchildren; six sisters, Vivian Arneson of Mabel, Minn., Evelyn Lockwood of Bowling Green, Ky., Vest Hicks of Kerric, Minn., Murial Cronin and Audrey Wohlsdorf, both of Decorah, and Martha Hansen of Jackson, Mich.; he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Wayne; services will be 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Phelps Cemetery, both in Decorah; friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, where there will be a Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion memorial service at 7 p.m.; visitation Friday at the church; Mr. Headington was a farmer and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
