James was the son of James Jefferson and Jane May (Cole) Loftin. He graduated from Stringtown High School in 1992. James was the Store Manager for Sonic in Atoka. He married Tracy (Henderson) on October 5, 1998 at Ada, OK. James attended Cornerstone Church in Atoka. He was a member of the Atoka Fire Department and the driver/operator for Engine 1. James enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Henderson Loftin, of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Noah Jamison Riley Loftin of the home in Atoka, OK, Mallory Quinn Loftin of the home in Atoka, OK and Trenton Jay Loftin of the home in Atoka, OK; parents; sisters, Christina Loftin Brown and husband Stefan of Atoka, OK, and Tonya Kay Loftin of Stringtown, OK; brother in law, Scotty Smith of Stringtown, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Christine Cole and D. L. and Bessie May Loftin; and an uncle, Carey Loftin. Services will be held Aug. 16, 2012 at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka, OK with Bro. Joe Chapin officiating. Interment will be at Green Meadows Cemetery in Atoka, OK.
