Today as any other day has started off like most days in all of our lives . . . . as for one of America's fines Constable Brian Bachmann was a happy go lucky type of guy always so friendly and uplifing for all of who has come across him, such a warm caring smile.

Upon going to work Officer Bachmann had punch in gone to the morning meeting and then was given his order at that time . . . . As for all of us we just do not know what each day will bring to us or how it will be delivered . . . . it was going to be another day of going to work . . . . just like any other day . . . . and life goes on . . . . ?

Constable Brian Bachmann, A gunman killed two people on Monday, including Officer Bachmann, who was serving him an eviction notice at a home near Texas A&M University, before police fatally shot him, officials said. The shooting comes at a time of national concern over gun violence after two recent mass shootings. Four others, including three police officers and a female civilian, were wounded.

According to the College Station Police Department, the gunman was shot and taken into custody. The gunman later died, a police spokesman told the Dallas Morning News' crime blog. A male civilian also died in the "gunfight," police said.
"It appears that the shooter [was] shooting from a house with automatic weapons," KBTX-TV said.

The other wounded officers are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the police spokesman said. The female civilian underwent surgery Monday; her condition was not released.

Texas A&M issued an alert on its website just before 12:30 p.m. local time on Monday warning of an active shooter near Kyle Field, the campus football stadium.

The shooting occurred near Highlands and Fidelity Streets in College Station, just south of the George Bush Drive and east of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
