Alex and the children evidently stayed in Obion County after Lucy's death, because on August 13, 1879, he married Lucy's younger sister Margaret Emily Glasgow. This marriage made Margaret the stepmother to her niece, Mary Lucinda, and she lovingly raised her late sister's child as her own daughter.
As of this writing (Aug 2012), I have not been able to locate a burial location for Lucy Ann. I am assuming she was buried somewhere in or around Obion County, TN.
