She lived most of her life in Pittsylvania County. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Design United Methodist Church. She married Clarence Swetlin Clark on April 14, 1925.
She is survived by two sons, Billy J. Clark and Harold R. "Pee Wee" Clark; three daughters, Edna M. Clark Gionta, Mary Ann Oakes and Shirley Jean DeLano; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by four sons, Ira Oscar Clark, Clarence S. Clark Jr., Marvin L. Clark and Robert Lee Clark; a grandson; a granddaughter; a number of brothers and sisters.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
