Mrs. Marquardt was born in Summit Station, Pa., daughter of Gottlieb and Johannah Mayer. She had lived here 21 years. She was the widow of John B. Marquardt, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Port Carbon, Pa.
Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Hess of Engelwood, Calif., Mrs. Grace Herbert of Little Silver and Mrs. Esther Smith of Oceanport and a nephew, Carl Conover of Oceanport.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Robert A. Braun Home for Funerals, Eatontown. Rev. Robert S. Judge, pastor, Sea Bright Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch.
