Mrs. Ingebor Johnsrud died Oct. 2, at the age of seventy at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Olson, after a lingering illness. A short service was held at the house, after which the remains were accompanied by the sorrowing relatives to Manitowoc where she was laid in her final resting place near her husband and children. She has three children to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother. They are Messrs. Halvor and Oscar Johnsrud, and Mrs. Harry Olson. The hearty sympathy of their friends and neighbors is extended to the bereaved family.

ALGOMA RECORD, Friday, October 6, 1911: The Grim Reaper - Mrs. Knut Johnsrud Dies At Home in Clay Banks After Long Illness
Mrs. Knut Johnsrud, a resident of the town of Clay Banks, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Olson, in that town Monday morning after an illness of several years duration. The deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Ingeborg Skatrud, was born in Valdres, Norway in May, 1842. She was united in marriage to Mr. Knut Johnsrud in 1864, and the same year came to America and settled in Manitowoc County. Her husband died several years ago. Mrs. Johnsrud was the mother of nine children, three of whom still live, and are, namely, Mrs. Harry Olsen, Halvor and Oscar Johnsrud, all of whom reside in Clay Banks. Mrs. Johnsrud is also survived by three brothers and one sister.
The body was shipped to Manitowoc Wednesday afternoon for interment.
