Eunice M. Rusk, 61, Route 2, Stone Lake, died Saturday, July 5, at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 7, 1925, at Blueberry Lake, the daughter of Robert and Florence (Lumbard) Mewhorter. She was joined in marriage to John Risk at Hayward and was an active member of the Whitefish Presbyterian Mission Church.

Surviving are her husband, John; three daughters, Carol Rusk, Stone Lake, Renee Taylor, Hayward, and Lori Warwick, Stone Lake; seven sons, Kenneth, John, Ronnie, Robin, Richard, and Rudy, Stone Lake, and Russell, Fallon, NV; 12 grandchildren; and one sister, Rose Gardner, Couderay.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gerry; two daughters, Alveretta and Wendy Lou; and a grandson, Derreck.

Funeral services were held at 1 P.M. Monday, July 7, at the Whitefish Presbyterian Mission Church, with Rev. Robert Thrasher officiating. Special music was provided by Pearl Thrasher, Mary Grade, Buzz Isham, and Ellen Hagen. Interment was in the Whitefish Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Daryl Coons, Arthur Elm III, Richard McClain, Francis Pawlicki, Mike Phelan, and Arthur Tainter. The Anderson-Nathan Funeral Home, Hayward, was in charge of arrangements.
