ERNEST CAREY ADAMS, 81, of Carnesville, GA, husband of Ruth Martin Adams, died Saturday, August 2, 1986, at Briarwood Nursing Center, Tucker, GA.
Born in Hall County, he was a son of the late Alfred Hopson and Lenora Staton Adams. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service, was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and Hebron Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his widow; daughter, Mrs. Gayle Adams Shaw of Atlanta; 2 grandchildren.
Services were Monday, August 4, at Indian Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Harry E. Poovey and Rev. Ray Black. Burial was in the church cemetery.
