Julio Baca, a resident of Bosque, NM, passed away on May 8, 1999.
Julio was a member of Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church.
Julio served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II.
Julio worked as the head mechanic at Baca Auto Sales for 42 years.
Julio was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro and María Baca, two brothers, Rudy and José, one sister, Christina Gómez and one brother-in-law, Mike Vallejos.
Julio is survived by his loving wife, Mary of 42 years of the family home in Bosque, NM, his children, Alan and his wife, Rose Mary Baca of Tomé, NM, Elaine Aragón and her husband, Art of Bosque, NM and Wayne Baca and his wife, Dora of Belén, NM, grandchildren, Bernadette, Sarah, Joshua, Justine, Erminia Marie, J. Alan and Jared, brothers and sisters, Nestor Baca, Domi Lovato, Alice Castillo and her husband, Benny, Mela Rodríguez and her husband, Mike, Cristella Salas and her husband, Roger, George Baca and his wife, Eva, Carmen Córdova, Virginia Jaramillo and her husband, Andres, Albert Baca, Rosella Serafin and her husband, Rueben, Daniel Baca and his wife, Yvonne, Lorraine Weaver and her husband, Duane, all of Barstow, CA, Rosalena Vallejos of Victorville, CA, Patricio Baca of Pueblitos and Steve Baca and his wife, Nila, Wilfred Baca and his wife, Linda, all of Denver, CO. Julio is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews, as well as his very special friends, George and Frances Chávez.
All are welcome to attend the visitation which will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church, Belén, NM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Bosque Catholic Cemetery in Bosque, NM.
Pallbearers will be his loving children. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Baca, Alex Silva, Paul Gómez and Bonnie Chávez.
The family asks for all to remember him fondly in their prayers.
