Mrs. Christine Brosh Adams, 94 of Biloxi, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1993, in Biloxi. Mrs. Adams, a native of Baltimore, MD., moved to Biloxi as a young child and she lived here till her death. She was employed by the seafood industry as a child and is honored with a photo taken at the age of eleven in the seafood museum. She is also featured in books about child labor laws in the South at the beginning of this century. Mrs. Adams was later self-employed in the dry cleaning industry and real estate rentals. At the time of her death she was retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin H. Adams, two children, John O. Boutwell and Mrs. Lucille M. Roby; her parents, Joseph and Rosalie Brosh; and one brother, Joseph Brosh.
Survivors include two sons, George H. Adams, Sr. and Le Roy A. Adams, Sr., both of Biloxi, one daughter, Mrs. William (Elnoir)Pauli of Biloxi, 13 granddaughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Fayard, Sr., Mrs. Jim (JoAnn) Arnold, Jr., Mrs. Robert (Jeannie) DeGeorge, Mrs. Nick (Elnoir) Tapp, Mrs. Leonard (Pam) Cooper, Mrs. Jerry (Cheryl) Battise, Mrs. Cliff (Mary) Clark, Mrs. Miriam Mellon, Mrs. Herbert (Deborah) Rhodes, Ms. June Adams, Mrs. Arthur (Patricia) Lattinzio, Mrs. Bryon (Donna) Regoli, and Ms. Priscilla Pennigton; 11 grandsons, Joseph Lesso, Jr., Randy Lesso, Sr., Victor Roby III, George Adams, Jr., Michael Adams, Sr., Dennis Adams, Sr., Russell Adams, Sr., Tyrone Adams, Lee Roy Adams, Jr., David Adams, Sr., and William Adams,67 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren, 3 nieces, and 3 nephews.
Mrs. Adams was lovingly cared for during the last few years of her life by Dr. Thomas Poothullil and Mrs. Elnoir Pauli, her daughter, with whom she lived.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 pm. Services will be Tuesday at 10 am in the funeral home chapel, with burial in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Taft, Joe Krivanec III, Randy Lesso, Jr., John Fayard, Jr., Michael Arnold, Le Roy Adams, Jr. and Mike Adams.
