92 years of age. Son of Bedney Thomas and Virginia Ramsey Gentry. Husband of Annie Lee Walker Gentry, who preceded him in death. He had once been a grocery clerk at Blalock Bros. Co., and had lived at 1403 Randolph Ave.(in 1940.) Mr. Gentry later was the owner and operator of Gentry Food Store that had been at the corner of Asheboro and Burtner Sts. (now Martin Luther King Blvd.) He had no children, and had lived at 4235 Princeton Ave. before his death.
