MULBERRY - Juanita Maxine (Taylor) Geohagan, 70, passed away to be with our Lord, April 2, 2012, due to respiratory failure.
Born August 2, 1941, in Bartow, Florida, she grew up and resided most of her life in the Mulberry and Medulla areas. She was employed by the Polk County Sheriff's Office for over 26 years, retiring in 2005. She was a lifelong member of Medulla Baptist Church.
She will ever be remembered by her family and friends for her characteristic humility in all that she did, her pride in her family and as a loving, adoring, and committed wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Mrs. Geohagan was preceded in death by her brother Donald D. Taylor (Willma), and her parents Culbert and Thelma Taylor. She is survived by her husband W. Lamarr Geohagan, her daughter Andrea M. Geohagan, both of Mulberry, FL, her son A. Brent Geohagan, her 2 grandchildren: Colleton L. Geohagan and Emma K. Geohagan, and her brother W. LeRoy (Wanda) Taylor, all of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by 7 nieces and 5 nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 5th from 5-7pm at Medulla Baptist Church. Funeral services to be held Friday, April 6th at 11am at the church.
