Mrs. Billie Mae Bryant Davis, age 71 of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, August 08, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Davis was born in Mercer County, WV on October 3, 1940 to Dewey and Tianna Gentry Bryant. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and beloved sister who will be dearly missed.
Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Lindel Davis, Sr. of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Tim Holloway of Mt. Airy; Myra Jo and Keith McCraw of Cana; a son and daughter-in-law, Lindel Davis, Jr. and Jennifer of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Crystal Throckmorton and husband Thomas, Edward McCraw, Jr. and Anthony McCraw; four great grandchildren; sisters and a brother-in-law, Jerry Dean Causey of Thomasville; Jackie and Danny Norman of Charlotte; and brothers, Gary Bryant of Ocala, FL; Richard Bryant of Salisbury and John Bryant of High Point.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Davis; a grandson, Clinton Lewis, a sister, Barbara Bryant and a brother, James Bryant.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ed Bowman, Rev. Steve McCreary and Rev. Stacy Redd. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
