Lupe Acasio, a nurse's aide at Community Convalescent Hospital in Martinez for one year, died Thursday at Valley Medical Center in Santa Clara following a lengthy illness. She was 46.
The native of San Francisco lived in Pittsburg for 41 years. She attended schools in Pittsburg. She enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Acasio of Brentwood and Eddie Acasio and Gilbert Acasio; sisters, Celia Baraes, Anita Ornelas and Mary Ellen Ortega, all of Texas, and Peggy Davenport, Mary Garcia, Dorothy Muela and Martha Muela, all of Pittsburg; and mother, Teresa Muela of Pittsburg.
