Dean Baldwin, 68, of Vista died Thursday. He was born in Memphis, Tenn., and served as a master gunnery sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Survivors include his wife, Sara; daughter, Gayla Prociv of Federal Way, Wash.; stepmother, Fern Baldwin of Houston; sister, Mary Ann Casey of Duluth, Ga.; and stepbrother, Jackson Hanson of Houston.

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Eternal Hills Chapel, Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside. Interment: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
