Richard Allen Poulsen, age 87 passed away May 10, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born January 24, 1917 in Richfield, Utah to Joseph and Elida Poulsen. He married Wray Andersen on Oct. 14, 1939 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Wray preceded Richard in death on May 4, 1998.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to travel, especially by car and tell stories. He also loved the outdoors.

He is survived by: two sons Richard A. (Marlayne) Poulsen Jr., Tony Ray (Stephanie) Poulsen; seven grandchildren: Heather (Vincent) Olsen, Christopher (Jennifer), Kirk (MiKaela), Kimberlee (Aaron) Bigelow, Lindsey, Jennifer, Elizabeth, seven great-grandchildren, and one brother Gerald Poulsen.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 12:00 Noon at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Dr., where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Friday. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
