Ynez Viola Demick, 85, of Bremerton died at Belmont Terrace in Bremerton.
She was born in Bremerton to Roy Delbert and Nina (Hawkins) Jones. Se was a high school graduate. She married Harold J. Demick on Aug. 27, 1938, in Silverdale. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Mrs. Demick was activities director for 15 years at Belmont Terrace. She also worked in dry cleaning. She was a member of the North Mason United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends helping the elderly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son William J. Demick and grandson Jefferey Demick. Survivors include son Harold Jack Demick of Bremerton,daughter Joanne Wilkinson of Bremerton, grandchildren Netty, Kim, Kelly, Sandy and Bret;and great-grandchildren Willie, Tai, Luke, Dean, Zoe, Jerad, Cindy,Derek,Tristen,Calvin and Hannah.
Memorial services:3:p.m. Wednesday at North Mason Methodist Church.
