Schulz, Jeannette Charlotte 82 of Georgetown, died at her residence on Aug 4, 2008.

Jeannette was born on Jan 31, 1926, to William and Charlotte (Brenneke) Vollmer in Saginaw, MI. She studied to be a medical technologist at the University of Chicago.

Jeannette married Richard Burkart Schulz in Chicago, the coupled moved around the country, following Richard's engineering career living in Bellevue, WA., San Antonio, Annapolis, MD., Dallas, and finally settling in Georgetown to enjoy their retirement by being near family.

Jeannette had many interests outside of the home. She was a member of Toastmasters International, receiving several awards. She also enjoyed bowling, poetry, singing music, playing bridge, and horseback riding. Her spiritual life was important to her; she taught Sunday School in Chicago and Bellevue, she was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church in Dallas, and Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown.

Jeannette is preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1998 and her brother, William Vollmer.

She is survived by her son; Steven and wife Carmen, grandchildren; Christine and Cynthia (Lula) Schulz, and sister; Lucille and husband Robert Glazier.
