EVART — Lula A. Bissett, of Evart, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Spectrum Health-Reed City Campus. She was 84.
She was born on August 25, 1927, in Evart, to Nicolas Kallas and Winifred Clark Kallas. She married Darelton M. "Buck" Bissett on July 16, 1945, in Manton. She and her husband owned and operated Farm Fresh Produce on U. S. 10 west of Evart. She enjoyed her flower garden, hunting and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant twin boys; sister, Donna Marrs, and four brothers, Ephrom, Henry, Peter and Chick Kallas.
Funeral services for Lula Bissett are 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the Corey Funeral Home in Evart, with Pastor Joe Beavan officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
