Burial will be in Prewitt Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Holdiness was born May 18, 1938 in Aberdeen, MS and passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Winnsboro, LA.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, John R. Holdiness, Jr.; daughter, Tina M. Holdiness; parents, Isaac and Mary Hathaway; brothers, Isaac P. Hathaway, Jr. and Charles O. Johnson.
Survivors include her children, John R. Holdiness, III and wife, Pattie of Mangham, Ella L. Broadway and husband, Keller of Winnsboro, Sallie E. Williams and husband, Gary of Mangham; step-daughter, Johnie D. Thompson of Shreveport; grandchildren, Isaac, Paul, and Tommy Mercer; Christina, Luke, and Frank Holdiness; Sarah Spillers; Gary L. Williams, Jr.; Heath Williams; Christopher Culotta; 8-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
