She was self-employed in home health service, was employed by the Kroger and Company Grocery Store, Osco Drugs, and L.S. Health and Sons, Robinson. She was a member of the Bridgeport Christian Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Pana Christian Church.
Her survivors included a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Judy Rayl; a daughter, Jackie Jackman; three grandchildren, Kelli Fellows, Paul Stoner and Mary Shake; two great-grandchildren, Brittanie Gonote, Danyelle Fellows and Emily Shake; several nieces and nephews including Vickie Wright, Barbara Pethel, Jeff Craig, Sam Craig, Connie Craig, Rita Florence and Patricia Lennon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Manuel Lennon and Lloyd Lennon; and a sister, Lucille Craig.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Barlow were held on May 21, 1998 in the Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, Illinois followed by interment in the Robinson New Cemetery.
