Jim and Connie Kay Jasa married 7 October 1961 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa, Nebraska. They raised three children, Jamie, Nitha and Heidi.
After farming, trucking, and working 23 years in the tool & die department at Lindsay Mfg., Jim retired to Burwell in 2002.
James was also a Fire and Rescue Volunteer and E.M.T. for the St. Edward Fire Department and a member of the American Legion Post #298 of Burwell.
He is survived by his 3 children: Jamie Thomazin and wife Gwen of Slayton, MN; Nitha Beeck and husband James of Lincoln; Heidi Osantowski and husband Joe of St. Edward, NE; ten grandchildren: six step-grandchildren: brother and sister-in-law Pat and Candy Thomazin; sister: Joan Steinmann, a host of Thomazin and Cahill relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Nick Thomazin; brother-in-law: Frank Steinmann; and parents-in-law: Frank and Mayme Jasa.
Jim is both my husband's first cousin through the Thomazins and his third cousin through the Cahills
