Passed away at her home Tuesday, September 8, 1992, following a lengthy illness. Age 59 years. Margerie M. Popp was born January 16, 1933 in Bridgeport. She married George W. Sanderson Nov 29, 1952; he survives her. She was a member of the Birch Run United Methodist Church. Surviving are three daughters, one son and their spouses, Cheryl Wright, Burt; Pamela Maxwell Vierke, Bridgeport; Kimberly and Steven Zuzula, Bridgeport; Michael and Patricia Sanderson, Burt; seven grandchildren, Jeramie Maxwell, Florida; Chelsea Wright, Burt; Donald and Zachary Zuzula, Bridgeport; Adam and Amanda Sanderson, Burt; one brother and three sisters and their spouses, Dorothy Davenport, Saginaw; Norma and Charlie Kitner, Florida; Herb and Sophie Popp, Onaway; Nancy Popp, Florida; her sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Popp and Marianne Popp; many nieces and nephews; a close friend, Leona Jones, Bridgeport. Two brothers, Richard and James Popp have predeceased her.
The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Birch Run United Methodist Church. Rev. Dale E. Brown and Rev. James Jacobs will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Case Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and then at the church from 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral.
