WALTER BASTIAN
Walter Bastian, 58, a Brillion farmer, died late Wednesday at Wisconsin General Hospital in Madison. His death followed a lingering illness.
Born Oct. 3, 1894 at Brillion, he was married to Elsie Greves on March 1, 1916. She preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 1934. Six years ago, on Oct. 4. 1947, he was married to Adeline Reese.
Mr. Bastian was a member of the Brillion Methodist Church.
Survivors are three sons, Kenneth of Chilton, and Vance and Donald of Brillion; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth(Alice) Olp, Milwaukee, Mrs. Donald(Ruth)Marshall, Erie, Pa., and Mrs. Lawrence(Myrtle) Bastian, Brillion; eight grandchildren; a brother, Arthur of Brillion and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Kuecker, Manitowoc, Mrs. Laura Good, Columbia, Ohio, and Mrs. Ray Zahn, Brillion.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brillion Methodist CHurch with the Rev. James Carrico, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Brillion cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Luecker Funeral Home at Brillion from 7 o'colck this evening until 11 a.m. Saturday, and at the church after Saturday noon.
