George B. Rench, age 91, died Monday, Jan. 5, in Tarpon Springs, FL, formerly of Stickney, IL.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Adeline, nee Benetka; beloved father of Brian (Mary Ann); devoted grandfather of Laurie, Deborah, David and Amy; loving great-grandfather of Samantha, Matthew, Kaylin, Donnie, Daniel and Jacob.

Visitation Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, 12 noon, at the Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 S. Oak Park Ave., Stickney. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Mr. Rench was a manager for International Harvester (34 years), Stickney Village Trustee (1949-1964), Stickney Village President (1964-1989), President of the Stickney Police Assoc., member of Stickney Sokol, President of the Independent Citizens Club, President of the Stickney/Forest View Lions Club, member of the Stickney Democratic Org. and the Local Chairman of the American Red Cross Heart Fund and Cancer Society.
