James died in a terrible train wreck, 40 miles east of Kalispell, MT. at Nyack. He was a cook for the Great Northern Railroad and at the time of his death, he was the cook for Superintendent Downs. He mostly went by J. Henry or Henry. I believe he is buried under J.Henry Blair.
