VETERAN
Our dear brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend Robert Edward Adams, 85 years young, of Stevensville, Montana, went to his rest on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, after a short illness.
He lived in Stevensville since the age of 14. Bob was the third child born to Bluzie and Harriet Brodsky at Newell, S.D., on Aug. 13, 1926. Bob graduated from Stevensville High School in 1944. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years during World War II and was honorably discharged. Bob married the love of his life Allison Elizabeth "Betty" Terry, and together they raised their three children in Stevensville.
Bob and Betty were active in The First Baptist Church and school activities, always helping and contributing. Bob proudly served 20 years with the Stevensville Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 94.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Howard Adams; one sister Lorainne; one brother Jim and his loving wife of 50 years, Betty.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Bobbi Lynn Wolf and husband Clyde of Hillsboro Ore.; his son Mark and wife Victoria of Stevensville and son Steven and wife Roxanne of Hillsboro. He is also survived by two sisters, Anne Adams Leinan of Yakima, Wash., and Joy and Tom Kellough of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He has seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nephews and nieces and many fiends in the Bitterroot Valley.
Memorials may be sent to Aspen Hospice in Bob's name.
