Services for Ruby Irene Brooks, 84, of Natchez, who died January 16, 2010, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2:00 PM at Laird's Funeral Home with the Rev. DArian Duckworth officiating.
Burial will follow in Roxie Cemetery under the direction of Laird's Funeral Home.
Mrs Brooks was born July 14, 1925, in Louisville, the daughter of Lewis and Sarah Rose Anna Massey. She was a member of Washington United Methodist Church. Mrs Brooks was retired from Life and Casuality Insurance Company, where in 1979 she led the company in sales. Mr. Brooks is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George Eames, Jr., three sisters, Lena Jackson, Mary Welch and Lillie Brown , one granddaughter, Candice McInnis and one grandson, John Walker.
Survivors include three daughters, Frances Rehms and husband James, of Natchez, Barbara McInnis and husband, Jimmy, of Meridian and Margie Bean of Natchez; one Sister-in-law, Patsy Eames, of Ferriday seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a number of neices and nephews, and a special friend, Maragret Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Rehms, Michael Rehms,Jerry Rehms, Garry Rehms,Jason Johnston and Joshua Johnston.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darryl Gunter, Tres Rehms, Jeremy Rehms and Tracey Whitehead.
