Nebraska State Journal--May 29, 1943
Mrs. Emma C. Dunkak to be buried Sunday--Funeral services for Mrs. Emma C Dunkak, 74, resident of Raymond for ten years who died Thursday at the home of a daughter in Syracuse, will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the St. John's Lutheran church in Otoe, Rev. R M. Souberzweig officiating. Burial will be in the Aurora cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Louis F Dunkak; five sons, Henry, Sioux City, Iowa; Joh, Burke, South Dakota; Fred, Bonesteel, South Dakota; William Seattle; Louis, Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Hutchison, Burke, South Dakota; Mrs. Emma Roloff, Syracuse; tow brothers, William Peters, Weeping Water; George Peters, Aurora; and 17 grandchildren.

Emma is the daughter of Peter Peters & Weabke Magdalena Schomaker. She married Louis Frederick Dunkak.
