HALE
Mr. Turner Hale, aged forty-five died last Saturday of blood poisoning at his home in the west end of this county. He was a splendid specimen of manhood and was never sick a day in his life until just a week before his death. He was killing hogs and scratched his wrist very slightly with a butcher knife and blood poisoning resulted which ended his life a few days later. After the funeral, which was conducted by Rev. Pinkston, he was interred in the McMullen burying ground.
