John W. Barrow, 24, passed away suddenly in Peoria Thursday afternoon. His body was found slunped over in an auto by Peoria officials. He was formerly a resident of Roodhouse.

The young man was employed at the Caterpillar tractor company at Peoria. Cause of the death was not known. An inquest will be conducted later.

He was born at Athensville, Ill., September 16, 1934. the son of Ebert and Leona Willis Barrow. Both parents survive at Hettick, Ill. He leaves three children.

Other survivors include: one brother, Lloyd of Palmyra; three sisters, Mary Ann McClain, Peoria; June Randolph, Chesterfield; and Opal Barrow of Hettick.

The remains are at the Mackey Funeral Home at Roodhouse where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m, Rev. Ollie Phillips officiating. The family will meet firends at the funeral home Saturday evening.
