MORRISDALE - Mrs. Grace M. Hubler, a life-long resident of Morrisdale R.D., died at the home of a son, James, Morrisdale R.D., yesterday at 6 a.m. following a long illness.
She was born in Morrisdale, Aug. ?, 1884, a daughter of James and Sophia Smeal Rothrock. On May 4, 1904, she was married to Walter Hubler, who died in 1940. She was a member of the Palestine Methodist Church and the church's W.S.C.S.
Surviving her are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Hurley, James and Mrs. William (Ruth) Bumbarger, Morrisdale R.D.; Clifford and Wayne, Kylertown; Mrs. Orin (Lois) Crowell, Allport; Mrs. Andrew (Ellen) Sroczak, Philipsburg; Mrs. Esther Evans, Clearfield; and Blair, Buffalo N.Y. Also living are 31 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Annie Waple, Bigler; Mrs. Esther Maurer and Mrs. Roberta Peters, Woodland; Mrs. Elizabeth Strange and Mrs. Bessie Hummel, Morrisdale; Miss Eva Rothrock, Willard, Walter, Lloyd and Jess, all of Morrisdale R.D.
Two sons, Clyde of Kylertown and Leroy of Morrisdale, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Palestine church, Rev. William B. Starr officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the William Strange Funeral Home in Morrisdale from tonight at 7 o'clock until Wednesday noon, when the body will be taken to the church.
