Claire C. Billings, of Parkland Drive, Mountain Top, died February 17, 2007 at Geisinger South Wilkes- Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late James and Clara (Eckrote) Smurl.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the RCA Corp., Mountain Top. Claire was a welldressed, gracious lady, who carried herself with dignity.

She was an avid gardener, tending to her flowers and bird feeders.

She was a member of the Mountain Top Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband, William E. Billings; brother James; sisters Mary Jane and Rita.

Surviving are her children, Richard Billings and his wife, Christine, Ephrata, Pa.; Tina Mazzitelli, Mountain Top; and Deborah Jacob and her husband, Barry, Mountain Top; grandchildren Shawn Mazzitelli, Richard Billings Jr., Barry Jacob Jr., Michael Billings and Brent Jacob; three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Shirley) Furman, Noxen; Catherine Cummings, Delaware; and Regina Furman, Kingston; two greatgrandchildren, Brittany and Ashton.

The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top.

Services will follow at 10 a.m. at Mountain Top Presbyterian Church.

Interment will take place in Albert Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mountain Top Presbyterian Church, or the Children's Miracle Network.
