Died, at his residence in Baldwin, on Sunday, April 17th, at 4 o'clock p.m., Mr. J.C. Sanguinette, aged 69 years. Mr. Sanguinette had been a resident of St. Mary parish for a number of years, and was highly respected and esteemed by all who knew him. He was an old Confederate soldier. The funeral took place Monday evening from the Catholic Church in Charenton, and the remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. Peace to his ashes.
