She was born 23 January 1944 in Saint Clere, Kansas, daughter of the late Francis R. Roark and Alice Carey (Schram) Roark. On 4 June 1965 she was united in marriage to Blaine Beekman, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Scott M. Beekman and wife Kim, Athens, Ohio daughter Carey Webster and husband Matt, Ashburn, Virginia and a grandson Miller Beekman.
Frances was a retired Chief Probation Officer for Pike County Juvenile Court.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home 4 – 8 P.M. Monday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
