GEORGE BROATCH
George Broatch, well-known Western pioneer and father of J. W. Broatch of 1029 Twelfth Street, Saskatoon, died at Moose Jaw Thursday. The funeral was held at Moose Jaw Saturday. Mr. Broatch was born at. Trenton, Ont In 1850 and came to the Prairies in 1S83, when he settled at Brandon. In 1012 he moved to Keeler, Sask., where he resided until his death. He leaves a widow and five children, Mr. Broatch of this city, G. N. Broatch of Moose Jaw, Albert of Moose Jaw, Allister of Kecler, Angus of Seattle, and Mrs. William Little of Trenton, Ont. The lute Mr. Broatch had a number of friends In Saskatoon.
