Funeral services for lifelong area resident, Lola Gertrudi Davis will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 6 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Reverend Bud Rousset will be officiating. Interment will take place at the Lebanon Cemetery. A reception will follow interment at the Lewis Arriola Community Center.

A visitation has been scheduled for Thursday afternoon 3 to 5 p.m. at the Ertel Chapel.

Lola was born on June 13, 1947 at Dove Creek, Colo. the daughter of Eugene and Florence (Bartlett) Parker. She passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 58.

Lola graduated from Truth or Consequences High School in 1965. She loved to sew and crochet.

Surviving Lola are her children, Ray E. Davis and wife, Annette, Jerry L. Davis and fiancé, Cynthia, and Anita Gray and husband, Frank, all of Cortez; her six grandchildren, and her brother, Floyd Parker of Lebanon, Colo. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, Clifford Peabody and Calvin Davis; her companion, William Connor; and her siblings, Clarence Parker and Ila Mae Gallantine.
