Meadville, Aug 7. - James Wilson, aged 82 years, one of the best known men in this city, fell dead of heart disease on Market street this forenoon. He had gone to the market to do some trading, later visited with friends and started for home. He was seen to fall and when assistance reached him, he had passed away. Coroner C.J. Stockton viewed the body, stated that death had been by natural causes and declined to hold an inquest.
The deceased, who was formerly a contracting carpenter, was born in Ireland. He is survived by his widow and a son, George Wilson of this city.
