Ernest Hicks, 58, of 4259 N. Chelsea Ave., died May 11 in Trinity Lutheran Hospital. He was a lifelong area resident. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. June Hicks of the home; a son, Larry V. Hicks, Kansas City, Kan.; three stepsons, John R. Pointer, Denver, and Jeffrey L. Pointer and Jay W. Pointer of Kansas City; two brothers, Lloyd M. Hicks, Kansas City, Kan., and Jack L. Hicks, Cordova, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Anderson, Climax Springs, Mo., Mrs. Becky Skelton, Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Audrey Berosnik (i.e. Bloznik), Osceola, Mo., and Mrs. Evelyn Payne, Sacramento, Calif.; and a grandson.
